Jamiecea Williams

Director of Employment Support Services

 

Jamiecea Williams has more than 10 years working in the Social Service Field.  At an early age, Jamiecea always felt the need to help others, and developed a passion for promoting the well-being of others overcome challenges.   At the age of 19, Jamiecea worked in a Group Home setting where she provided advocacy and crisis intervention to teenage youth.  In 2014, She achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.  She then began working with Children Division, providing protective services to children and families in instances of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.  In addition, Jamiecea has experience working with Early Intervention Services, Early and Special Education, and a variety of organizations within the community, coordinating, and carrying out services.

Originally, Jamiecea joined the Center for Head Injury in August, 2018 as a part- time Employment Advisor, where she provided on-site support for individuals at their place of employment.  Serving now as Director of Employment Support Services, Jamiecea uses her professional and personal experience to carry out the Center’s mission to empower others.
