Cindy Jung, M.A., PLPC
DIRECTOR OF COUNSELING SERVICES

Cindy joined The Center in 2017 as a job coach in the employment department, while completing her master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling. In May 2019, she earned her master’s in rehabilitation counseling from Maryville University. She is a (Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and a certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC). Cindy believes in a holistic approach to therapy, which promotes strengthening the whole person. She believes her prior experience in employment services has helped her transition to counseling and provide better care for clients at The Center. Her counseling experience includes working with people with disabilities, mental illness, substance abuse, and Alzheimer’s disease. In 2019 Cindy became the lead counselor, in addition to her role as counseling services manager.

Cindy enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and grand puppies. She also enjoys reading, swimming, and hanging out with friends. Cindy also has a special place in her heart for the Alzheimer’s Association charity. Her grandfather and mother both died from complications due to Alzheimer’s disease. Cindy is a strong advocate for Alzheimer’s disease and research.
