Niki received a certificate of participation from Adult Day Program Coordinator, Daniel Greenspan.

On April 30, we celebrated the program graduation of Niki Paul. Niki came to the Center because she was in a car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury that left her with severe cognitive-linguistic and physical limitations. She participated in the Adult Day Program and Therapy Services. She came to the Center in a wheelchair, unable to walk, but working with one of our physical therapists, Niki is now walking with modified independence using a wheeled walker. Through occupational therapy, Niki can now manage her own personal hygiene needs, basic food preparation and is ready to find a volunteer position. The Center’s speech therapist worked with Niki on cognitive-linguistic skills. She has progressed and consistently tests within normal limits for cognitive function. She completes high-level tasks quickly and accurately. Niki is looking forward to the next chapter of her journey and to being a participating member of her community.
