MAAP has been awarded a challenge grant!  With this grant, your donation of up to $5000 will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling your gift!

Donating to MAAP and The Center helps provide a variety of necessities not covered by state funding. Your tax deductible contribution is essential to the mission of the program and The Center’s goal to expand its programs and help other underserved families.

Ways you can give:

  • Pledge of up to two years
  • Gift of cash
  • Gift using Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits*
  • Gift of securities/stock


*Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits are a 50% tax credit available to businesses or individuals who have business, rental or farm income.

Sample Gift Amount $1,000
Federal charitable deduction     - 280    (28% varies on tax bracket)
MO State deduction        - 60    (6% state tax)
State NAP Credit         - 500   (50% credit)
Total deductions and credits    $840
Out of pocket costs    $160
