A: The Center for Head Injury Services is a comprehensive resource for both the victims of head (brain) injuries and their families in Missouri.

A: The Center offers a variety of services for all types of head injuries. For severe cases, The Center provides therapies and adult day care services. For the less severe, The Center provides vocational and employment services. Counseling is available for families who are facing disability adjustment problems.

A: The Center assists all individuals with head injuries in Missouri, from minor to severe cases, no matter the cause (auto accident, stroke, aneurysm, etc.), while also helping their families during these difficult times.

A: Funding for The Center comes from many sources, including The Missouri Head Injury Program, The Missouri Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, The Missouri Department of Mental Health-Division of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, The Department of Social Services, The Missouri Head Injury Fund, and other governmental and private sources.
